Looking online and in books about interesting nail designs and ideas can be a little discouraging for some individuals, because often times those photos only include long and full nails. This makes many people think that there is no hope in having elegant nails if they are short, but this is not true, and there are many options for people with short nails! Lake Lindsey residents should know that many of the same pieces of nail art that are seen on long nails can easily be placed on shorter nails. In fact, there are some styles of nail design that explicitly look great for people with shorter nails.
French Manicures and Tips
French manicures can be done on fingernails of any length, whether they are real or not, but they often look the best on individuals who have shorter nails. Lake Lindsey residents might recognize this nail style by simply having nothing but a white band of color on the tips, which a gloss top or base coat covering the nails. French tips are a great idea for individuals with shorter nails because they are very easy to maintain as they grow, but this is something that can be a little more time consuming for individuals with long nails.
Nail Art with Rhinestones
Rhinestones do not have to be exclusively put on people with short nails, however, they are often more prominent with shorter nail styles because they cover more of a person’s nails. Lake Lindsey residents with longer nails may have to put on more rhinestones to have more of an impact, but too many rhinestones on a person’s fingernails can be uncomfortable. Some people only want one or two rhinestones on their fingernails while others want them to cover their whole nail. It is much more comfortable to place a rhinestone at the base of the fingernail that is still on top of someone’s finger than it is to have it on longer fingernails that extend passed the tips of someone’s fingers.
