Some individuals notice that their acrylic nails look great the first week or two after they have been put on. Any more time than this is when an individual will notice that their acrylic nails will not cover their whole finger nail, and their natural nail will start to show. This is usually when someone asks themselves should I get my current acrylic nails filled or should I just get new acrylic nails? Bayonet point residents may have different opinion on this, but the truth of the matter is it is a personal choice.
Getting Your Nails Filled
It is only natural that as your nails grow, so to will the position of your acrylic nails. Bayonet Point residents who have had their nails on for a couple of weeks may start to see their natural nail appear more and more at the base of their fingernails. In order to fix this, a person will have to see their nail technician for an acrylic fill. This however does not work with some people because they still have to deal with the new length of their acrylic nails growing more and more. Longer nails are easier to break, and this can happen all too easy with everyday tasks.
Getting New Acrylic Nails
Maybe nail technicians will recommend that their clients get new acrylic nails every couple of weeks in order to avoid breaking them down the line. With acrylic nails, the longer you wear them the more of a chance they have to weaken and break down, becoming more susceptible to breaks and cracks. Some individuals only get a fill once or twice before they decide to get new nails, while some clients suggest that someone should get new nails every time they think they should get a fill, in order to help avoid complications down the road.
