There are many reasons why someone might be interested in getting themselves acrylic nails. Beacon Square residents might want something that makes their fingernails look longer, or maybe they want to have show their favorite color, but these issues are not enough to be dangerous damaging. Yet even though painting nails or getting them filled every couple of weeks seems harmless, there is a lot of stress put on your nails that can make them unhealthy if someone is not being careful. While it is complexly safe to get your nails done, if someone is to overdo it, it can lead to their nails becoming very thin and brittle.
What is the Problem with Thin Nails?
Having thin nails does not seem like a big issue to many people. If it is anything like hair, thinner hair is not ideal to thicker hair, but it still does the same job and function. When it comes to acrylic nails, Beacon square residents should know that it could become more and more difficult to have nails on your fingernails. Thinner nails often imply that they are more brittle, and that they can break more easily than those who get modest nail work done every once in a while.
Be Careful with Using too Much Acetone
If someone wants to remove their current nails or nail polish, they often must use a solvent to remove them, most commonly acetone. Even though acetone is only going on your fingertips, it can still cause problems for people who use it. When using acetone to remove acrylic nails, Beacon Square resident should be cautious of breathing in the fumes because it can cause people to get nauseous, experience dizziness, or cause headaches or drowsiness. Acetone is used to remove fingernails because a solvent has to be used to remove the substance that is keeping the fake nails attached to someone’s real nails.
